This is my second week on my new nutrition plan and I have to say that my previous eating plan just wasn't cutting it. A stalled metabolism is not a pretty thing....but the good news is, it can be reversed.
I'm amazed at how much food we need to keep our metabs working properly especially at my age.
I've gone from 1600 - 1800 to 2000 cals starting next week. I'll finish at 3300 before I start fat burning.
My observation, personally, is that the extended time period tends to change your head space with regard to the word DIET.
What I mean is that I have become much more comfortable with the concept of "Lifestyle" as opposed to a "12 week transformation". Personally I believe that for me this concept is going to be far more sustainable than continually working to a short term deadline.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT A COPOUT. I'm following a plan that tells me I'll be at 7% in 17 weeks time and I'd rather do it that way than do a 12 week challenge and restrict my eating so much that I slow my metabolism and battle to maintain thereafter.
Watch this space...it's going to get interesting.

Hi Dougal,
Have missed you being an active part of our group. Glad to see that you have found a way to go. Best of luck with your new system...I´m still searching too for the right way to go. Not easy finding the way to goal.
Good luck!
Lynda
