I am feeling very fatigued after weeks of Giant sets 4 days per week followed by cardio but my program calls for Hypertrophy next as part of my periodisation so I have a dilemma.
I am in need of weeks rest before I start Hypertrophy but then my main goal will suffer so what will I do.
After introspection I have decided that since transformation is a long term plan for me I will take the rest and bite the bullet as far as my main goal is concerned. Still I'll see what I look like at the end of 84 days.
So next week no training.
My 42 day pics are above. Havn't made the progress I would have expected but C'est la vie.
I will re structure my eating and see what happens. I think at 58 yrs of age I am continually battling a sluggish metabolism and lowered testosterone.....BUT I WILL NOT LET THAT INFLUENCE MY PROGRESS.
I still believe implicity in my ability to achieve whatever I want...it just may take a bit longer.

like your attitude, it is so contagious! Keep at it and you 58? Get out! Darn, what's in the water you're drinking? Stay the course and I know you'll never quit!
Looking good my friend! Sorry I haven't stopped by in a while, I've been very busy the past couple of weeks. You are heading in the right direction and there are definitely some good changes happening in your photos. Keep on slugging away at it man!
Dougla, you made the right choice. The rest is more important. You will come back stronger than ever. Remember, you grow when you rest, not when you are in the gym. Rock on!
Dude, started training again today...felt, thanks for the comments. Visiting your site today.
Thanks for the comment today! Glad I was able to point you to some useful resources. That's the entire point of what we are doing with Adam, right?
