THE CRUSADES - by dougal macdonald Chief Evangalist - Day 20

HOPE starts us - DOING everyday, gets us there.

It hit me, like a sandbank upside my head, LOL, this morning, reading Meredith's blog, fabulously full of hope, exitement, determination and courage. http://roadmaptosuccess.wordpress.com/

BANG, that's where it all starts. Hope. Without hope, what's the point. Hope springs eternal and that is what get's us to start anything. Once hope has got us to a point where we believe, the doing, everyday, gets us there.

When things get tough and we want to quit, the hope of what we started filters back into our consciousness and wafts around like opium from a Hookah pipe sucking us in, reminding us why we started.

And if we recognise it for what it is and hold onto it, we DO, the next day and the next until we complete our journey. Hope is no longer hope, hope has become reality.

Hope is the journey on which we build TRUTH, Hope is the building block from which we leap higher onto a larger block until one day...if we have recorded our victories, we look back and down, and with a sharp intake of breath we realise how far we have come, victorious.

All victory is birthed in hope, a magnificent word, to which we cling for dear life when we are about to fall into our own personal chasm.

HOPE, Keep this word close and use it wisely, for it surely is our future.

Wow Dougal, I was so touched to be mentioned in your blog...geez, thanks! I have tried for the last 10 years to achieve my physical goals without success. Attempts to visualize my head on someone else's body proved futile. Communicating with real live people who have made the transformation gives me hope..if you guys found the strength to do it, it is possible.
