THE CRUSADES - by dougal macdonald Chief Evangalist - Day 28

Day 28 of my 28 day Shred (well my version of it )

What did I want to achieve?

28 days ago I was barely out of hospital. I had set a goal to walk 3.5kms twice a week and start doing freestanding squats and calf raises. 4 days of exercise, such as it was then.

What did I achieve?
  1. I am walking 15kms in three different sesssions per week.
  2. I follow an extensive flexibility/stretching/core strengthening routine daily.
  3. I am doing a full body weight training routine in the gym 3 times per week.
  4. I am off ALL medication which included antibiotics, painkillers, anti-inflamatries, anti-dpressants, sleeping pills and anti-coagulants.
  5. My emotional mindset is extremely positive
  6. Physically, I'm feeling fantastic, mobility limitations not withstanding.

I think I can be pretty happy with where I am.

Where will I be in another 28 days.

I'll post new goals in my post The Crusades shred 2 day 1 tomorrow

Hi Dougal, I really missed your blogs while at the beach, and now that I just read today´s, I see you doing so well! It seems to me that you are just pretty darn close to being where you were before the accident. You seem so devoted to doing better and better, and I KNOW you will. Seeing you without pills is so awesome. You are one strong man Dougal. Am proud of you!

Dougal, great job man. You've buried all your goals and then some. Great news about being off the meds. What a story, what a story!
