THE CRUSADES - by dougal macdonald Chief Evangalist - 2nd 28 day | Day 6

Another goal smashed.....walked 10kms today....and I feel just fine.
It's a magnificent winter's morning here in beautiful sunny South Africa, the birds are chirping....Oh no sorry that's the ringing in my ears. I noticed this morning whilst on my sojurn around the countryside that I have a permanent ringing in my ears...doesn't bother me, it's just there. Wonder if it's always been there or if it's there since my accident. I also have...you're going to love this one...a click in my head when I start walking. I mean it's a definate click every alternate step....no really..I wonder if it's all the harware in my head aligning itself for the walk, coz it goes away when I'm warmed up. I move my brace around, check my clothing, dude I'm telling you it's in my head. Weird.

Must chat to Carl my nuero, about that.

So, my head is in rugby mode for saturday, The Springboks Vs the Wallabies, another giant game coming and of course The Open golf championship in England....and you know I love golf. Better start helping more around the house if I want to watch all that. C'mon sports fans, you know what I'm talking about.

Reminds me of a business rule I learned a very long time ago. "For me to get what I want, I need to give the other person what they want." Simple, win, win.

Works every time.

Hope your life is working for you...if it isn't, take a journal and start writing...write every day...a page or two is all....and you'll soon figure it out.

You hit the nail on the head every time. My brother in law is having brain surgery next week: the cancer is back and in his brain now. Yet they're hopeful and the procedure looks pretty straightforward. His tongue in cheek comment: Brain surgery is a breeze! PRayers will be offered nonetheless.

Hey Dougal,

talk to carl, he should find out what die cicking and singing is...sound you have a band in your head. :-)

I AM IMPRESSED BY YOUR MILEAGE! You are areal roadrunner!

Writing every daym this is Julia Cameron's wait of approaching challenges and nurturing the soul.

"The Artist's Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity " is one of her most famous books about it.

Sounds a bit "wallawalla" but comes down to the point of focussing and writing every day.

You ate doing so great!

Hey Dougal,

Sounds like you need a bit of an "oiling" mate to get ride of all the squeaks!! But seriously 10km is fantastic so soon after your accident, you must be so pleased with your progress?

You have an amazing weekend.

Take care...

Yeah, it's all in your head! Sounds pretty funny, but maybe Carl has some insight as to what's going on!

I don't know Rugby, but I saw a bunch of Irish guys playing their "Gaelic Football" pretty nasty game. I dated an Irish guy for about 3 years....I never drank so much in my life...glad THAT's over.

Boy Dougal...dadgum it...you´re doing 10K now! So good. Am so amazed at how you are pushing yourself to go higher and higher. Things are just more complicated for you, and nontheless, you are going full steam forward. You´re the MAN! For sure!

Will watch that Open Golf deal on SKY Channel and check it out. Haven´t had a minute. Also, there´s the Formula 1 in Germany this weekend. Wish I knew more about rugby. Now those are real men!
