My fifteen week journey back to perfect health - ' THE SUPER CHALLENGE'

Week 1 - Day 6

What's going on in my head?

It's empty today, saturday.

TRAINING

Walking on the treadmill. 2 min warm up. 4 x 1 min at increasing speed finishing on 7km ph. Not very quick I know but remember I can't run...so to elevate my HR I bumped up the incline 1% per set and did 4 sets. Got a reasonable w/o for my level of fitness. Am happy for now.

I will be working out more strenuous cardio sessions as I go along.

NUTRITION

OK, don't get on my case here but I had a day where I was here there and everywhere without planning so I didn't eat junk food but I didn't eat much FOOD either I know, I know.

Meal 1 Protein/Banana smoothy

Meal 2 Protein shake/.skim milk

Meal 3 Protein shake/skim milk

Meal 4 Protein bar

Meal 5 Protein shake/skim milk

Summary

Went to the gym in the am, went to watch rugby in the pm, went to a movie in the evening. Day done.

Take a deep breath. exhale. take another. It's OK to relax and just be. After all, we are human "beings" - not human "doings"
