EXTRA,EXTRA,EXTRA - NEW EXTRA

One of the guys in the gym took this shot for fun and it just reminded me of the importance of being happy. (Yes I know it's hard to recognise me with clothes on LOL)

I am, in this shot, where I am most happy, the gym. I had better be happy since I spend most of my day there.

It also reminds me of my personal mission statement " To empower 5 million people to find and fullfill their purpose through health and fitness."

Doing what I do allows me to help others and the fact is...unless your purpose in life is doing something to help others you are, long term, not going to feel very fullfilled.

Helping people get their lives back feeds my soul and that is what floats my boat.

I could say I am very lucky...but then you create your own luck. Don't you?

Hey Dougal,

Sorry for the lack of support mate. Mate you are vanishing!! You look great and you can see that aura around you in this pic, you just look so happy.

Agree 100% on the scales, used to get on them everyday but now I only use them to put my weight into the BF analyser!!

Take care,

Andrew

Andrew, thank you mate, welcome back, hope you had fun. Yup I'm really enjoying this

Ha, ha, Fab U Licious, why thank you Maam, sound like another shredderism for the shredder dictionary.

Dougal!!! You know until I truly experienced in my being (instead of understood in my head) what you're talking about here, I thought I "knew" what they heck it is that you're writing about. Wait does that make any sense?

But there are SO MANY points in this post that I really didn't GET for so long. I could write a thesis on it. But I'd be writing another one of my esoteric, long-winded comments trying to describe the essence of what is it to live in the human world and what it means to touch the Divine and really, I don't think it would say it any better than here.

For me, to experience the true meaning of what my interpretation of what you're writing about here (because I sometimes see things in my own way), I needed--well to paraphrase Yoda in Empire Strikes Back--to unlearn what I had learned.

Also, I am always glad to see the words "health and fitness" in a fellow shredders' blog. Hurray for a focus on HEALTH AND FITNESS! Yes, yes, yes. Amen, brother, Amen.

Christy, my good friend...I tend not to try and overthink anything and for that I'm glad I'm a simple guy. It helps me keep my head on straight. I understand exactly what you are saying and if you "got" what I was saying in your own way, then you have enriched my life. I'm glad you didn't have to get it from a "whore in a grocery store." LOL

Hi Dougal,
Had been by to check up, but didn´t see any new posts...so am glad to find you well and happy! Wanted to say, that what I most notice from your gym picture, is that you look so much younger...almost, almost a LOT younger. Noticed you have some Myoplex on the shelf. Can get it here too, but would have to hock my car to buy it. So glad that you are happy. The best thing in life.

Hello Lynda, thank you for the compliment, very encouraging. I suppose nutritional supplements aren't high on the priority list in Spain.
